We are very excited to announce our upcoming fundraising activity and celebration.  We are in the planning stages of our 3rd annual 5k race and a party to celebrate our 50 years of service to Faulkner County.

We need your help!! 

If you can volunteer to chair or help with a committee, please contact, Teresa Little at tlittle@fcds-conway.org or telephone me at 329-8102.  If you can, let me know of the business you work for and if it is alright to contact them requesting a donation to help with the race and party.  Listed below are the Committees that are available to serve on:

Sponsor procurement – Chaired by Karen Miller

Water Stop

Safety (traffic stops)

Awards

Publicity

Registration

Anniversary Party – Chaired by Teresa Kelly

The event will be held on 12/31/11, beginning at 10:00 in the morning.  We will need a lot of help before and during the race.  Funds raised in the past have helped at Milestones to update our playground and at Work Force, has beenused to buy such things as an exit door from a work area.

Thursday, September 29, 2011 is Senator Griffin Day at Faulkner County Day School.

He will be visiting and touring our school so be sure and give him a “Friendly Hello”.

40  hours per week. Must be able to multi-task, be proficient in MS Word and Excel, good organizational and people skills, and have transportation.  Pay based on experience.  Must pass background check and post-offer drug test. Early Childhood teacher’s aide, Milestones of FCDS; Full time, M-F, 8:30-5:30, $7.45 per/hr. HS diploma or GED required, experience or degree in related field a plus. Must pass background check, child abuse registry and post-offer drug test.  Apply 1700 So. Blvd or local ESD office by 9/13/11. EOE
